Now Welcoming New Families
Ages 2.5–6 • Aftercare Until 5 PM
Welcome to Lovejoy Montessori School — the only AMS-certified, state-licensed, OMA-member, in-home Montessori program in the Cedar Mill, Cedar Hills, Bethany, and North Beaverton area. We are a small, intentional community where children are truly known — academically, emotionally, and by heart. If you've been looking for something different, something deeper, something that feels like the right fit the moment you walk in — you may have just found it.
We welcome new families on an ongoing basis — because when your child is ready, we're ready too. Email info@lovejoymontessori.com to request a Parent Intake Form and schedule your tour.
Lovejoy Montessori is a State of Oregon licensed and certified family child care home offering a traditional three-year Primary Montessori program for children ages 2.5–6, guided by an AMS-certified Montessori primary teacher.

Our Philosophy & Pledge
At Lovejoy, we believe the early years are everything. This is where children discover who they are — as learners, as friends, as little humans navigating a big world. And those discoveries deserve more than a classroom. They deserve a community. At Lovejoy Montessori, every child is truly known. Known academically, known emotionally, known by name and by heart. Because when your group is small and intentional, nothing slips through the cracks — and no child ever gets lost in the crowd. When conflict arises — and it does, because that's childhood — we don't just redirect. We slow down. We explore solutions together. Children are offered choices, guided through their feelings, and supported in finding their own words. Sometimes we bring it to the whole group, because when one child learns something about kindness and communication, everyone grows.
The families who find Lovejoy don't just find a school. They find each other and the families who find us tend to feel like they've found something rare. Because they have.

"Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by the experiences in the environment."
Dr. Maria Montessori
